Human beings are naturally curious. We love to know everything about things, especially in our early years, when all that surrounds us is new and unknown. It is then when our brain has a real thirst for knowledge.

When children are born, they explore and experiment with the world around them. They watch, touch, taste, and ask questions. They should actively participate in each of the learning processes. One of the best ways is with experiments.

While experimenting, children can learn and play at the same time. It is a way to “feel” all the information they are receiving and transform abstract concepts into real ones. Experiments have many benefits, such as increased ability to pay attention, follow instructions, memory, fine motor skills, problem resolution, and enhanced mental processing.

Experiments allow children to learn lots of things without getting bored. It is a way to promote their interest in learning and investigation. It also enhances their autonomy because we allow them to think by themselves.
