Art is considered a language since we can express ourselves with it. When we talk about art, we talk about colors, movements, sounds, and feelings. Always behind an artistic expression, the creativity, imagination, and emotions of people are implicit. Working with art permits children to express themselves in a non-verbal way. They develop aesthetics, imagination, creativity, and sensitivity, allowing them to grow as better people and see things from others’ perspectives.
Allowing children to have contact with art at an early age will not make them artists. Still, it will enable them to be more aware of their emotions. That will help them grow with emotional intelligence, able to face and bear defeats, and succeed healthily. Art is an essential tool for children’s development in all their dimensions. They can work on it in a manipulative way.
With each easy art activity we do with children, we must be sure it is not just about developing their creativity and stimulating their motor or cognitive skills. We also need to ensure it is the right opportunity to strengthen emotional bonds between parents and children and understand, through their creations, what they are worried about or what they like. If children feel safe in the environment in which they are developing, their learning will be more effective, and they will feel free to verbalize their creations.

MATERIALS
- Paper rolls tubes
- Colored paints
- Plastic or disposable plates to put the colors
- Scissors
- White Card stock or construction paper
ACTIVITY DEVELOPMENT
Step 1:
Cut the Paper rolls tube all the way around the bottom to form strips.
Step 2:
Open the strips forming a flower.
Step 3:
Smear the paint at the bottom of the tube to do some stamps with it.

CHANGES FOR CHILDREN OLDER THAN 6
You can also do this easy art activity with older children. Likely, at this age children,can use scissors and cut the cardboard tube. Doing artwork strengthens and stimulates fine motor skills.
