Traveling with Baby Checklist: Important Things to Consider

Traveling with a baby can be a hard task. It is hard to know what to take and harder to remember every one of the things you need to remember! Equally when you are traveling for the first time, you might not have a clue where to start.

Here is a checklist of things you might want to consider taking if you are having a trip with your little one; obviously it will depend on how far you are going and for how long, but this is a general idea:

Their favorite baby blanket will provide great comfort to them and help them to sleep.

Appropriate clothing for the weather; the number you need will depend on whether they can be laundered while you are away.

Your preferred laundry detergent if you will be laundering clothes when away.

Their favorite few toys to keep them entertained while you are away.

Some books to read to them and calm them that they like seeing.

Diapers, wipes and diaper cream as well as diaper bags.

Any toiletries that can come handy such as shampoo and body wash.

Car seat if you’ll be driving at all.

A buggy or stroller to get them around including a rain cover if there is a chance of rain.

Bottles, milk or powder, sterilizing equipment, breast pump, water cup if needed.

Nursing tops and bras for you.

A few pacifiers in case they get dropped on the floor.

Spare clothes for you in case the baby is sick on you!.

Spares of everything in case you are delayed at any point.

Sun lotion and hat if you are going somewhere warm.

Something for you to do when they are sleeping such as reading books and magazines.

Traveling with a baby may not be the easiest thing in the world, but with a bit of careful planning it can be a breeze!
