From the time a child grows in their mother’s womb, they build and grow through sensory experimentation.
They are getting and internalizing concepts concretely by interacting with everything surrounding them. Thus, based on experience, children absorb all their learning needs for their development and social and cognitive skills.
Children are constantly exposed to different stimuli in their environment. Through these stimuli, they can hear, taste, smell, touch, feel, understand, create, and imagine.
That’s how, with the information coming from outside, they can develop even more complex processes that will allow them to understand everything that surrounds them. They are learning things to help them in the future as they grow,
These sensory activities are associated with various benefits in children’s lives, cognitive, language, social, emotional, physical, and creative development.
They live experiences that they enjoy and can practically decipher the world without the need to force learning.
As the Montessori methodology suggests, it is recommended to create spaces at home where children can be free to move in their environment without being exposed to dangers.
In this area, they can choose what they want to experiment with and when they want to do it. This can determine how fast they develop. They can deliberately explore, discover, and enjoy their senses at any time.
