Later, children will remember those concepts without looking at them, meaning that they already can make mental representations. Here is when language, drawing, and images appear.

Fitting shapes can be a good option to work with, for this activity you can take a cardboard box, and in one of their covers cut out the geometric shapes that you want to teach the children, then make the same shapes on a cardboard and cut it out, the children will have to insert these cards into the box.
