Our eyes work from the moment we get up until we go to bed, every day they receive a large amount of information, colors, movements, shapes, figures, in general everyone around us, all this information reaches the brain which processes and becomes knowledge. This sense of sight activity will teach kids how their eyes work.

Did you know that the eyes produce more water than normal as defense mechanisms, it is for this reason that the eyes cry when we are cutting an onion.

The eyes are the organ of the senses that we stimulate the most, however at birth it is the least developed, it requires time and stimuli to be able to see clearly.

An adequate stimulation at an early age will not only allow us to see well, the brain takes all the information that enters through our eyes and develops stable bases to facilitate cognitive development, interaction with other people and the development of the visual-motor.

An acetate surface with glass
A sheet of paper
A lamp
Paint

DEVELOPMENT OF THE SENSE OF SIGHT ACTIVITY

Step 1:

We look for a table in our house that is made of acetate or we can place an acetate sheet on two bases, we place a lamp under the acetate surface and we turn it on, so that the activity is more fun we can turn off the lights in the rest of the room .

Step 2:

With our luminous surface we can now make a pumpkin with our orange paint, do not forget to make the pumpkin its green stem, eyes, nose and mouth.

MODIFICATIONS FOR THIS SENSE OF SIGHT ACTIVITY

This sense of sight activity can also be done with younger children, who still do not have the ability to take the brush or draw a pumpkin, so what can be done is to paint on the acetate, this time you would not use leaves, no drawing is made, only the paint is spread and the children are allowed to paint and create their abstract drawing, with this sensory activity not only is the vision of the boys and girls stimulated, the sense of touch is also stimulated.
