This winter crafts for kids is a great activity attracting young and old alike. MATERIALS

Glue in a container
Paintbrush
A stick
Scissors
White cardstock
Pencil
A black marker
A tray

ACTIVITY DEVELOPMENT

Step 1:

Take the cardstock horizontally and cut a strip. This will be the polar bear body.

Step 2:

Make a small crease in one end of the card stock that was cut out.

Step 3:

Put together the end of the cardstock to the fold, forming a semicircle. With the paintbrush, spread the glue and stick the card stock.

Step 4:

Cut out four cardstock strips, which will be the bear’s legs, and fold them into an accordion shape.

Step 5:

Cut a circle from the cardstock, which will be the bear’s head, and draw its eyes, nose, and mouth.

Step 6:

Make two small circles that will be the bear’s ears, glue them to the head and then glue the bear’s head to the body.

Glue together the bear’s paws and the wooden stick to make a puppet.
