I have a very cool science experiment for kids that’s perfect for this theme.

Halloween Floating Spiders Science Experiment for Kids (4-6 Years Old)

Spiders are arthropod animals, they do not have bones, they are invertebrates and are part of the most numerous group of animals in the world, they have 8 jointed legs, the largest spiders measure approximately 30 cm, they eat insects and some are poison, they produce their own spider web and have very poor vision despite having 4 eyes.

Remember that we can always develop many skills in our boys and girls regardless of the topic proposed and much more if the topic is Halloween and spiders, this is what motivates me to carry out the following science experiment for kids “THE FLOATING SPIDERS”, this activity is based on a very simple science experiment. Let us remember that human beings acquire their first knowledge through exploration.

HOW DO WE DEVELOP THIS ACTIVITY?

Topic: Spider Science Experiment for Kids

Age: 4 to 6 years old

Activity objective: The boys and girls will learn about floating and spiders during a science experiment.

Difficulty level: Medium. This activity is designed for children to carry out autonomously by following instructions.

WHAT MATERIALS DO WE NEED FOR THIS ACTIVITY?

Glass plate (be careful to avoid an accident)
Erasable marker
Water container

ACTIVITY DEVELOPMENT

Step 1:

Let’s start this science experiment for kids. On the plate, draw several spiders with the erasable marker.

Step 2:

Pour the water over the plate, near the spider you drew, then watch the spider’s floating. Talk to your children about floating and spiders’ characteristics.

MODIFICATIONS

This science experiment for kids activity can be done with younger children, if the child still does not have the skill to carefully pour the water on a plate, this can be done by an adult with whom the child is doing the activity, it is very important that you choose a suitable place so that no accident occurs as is not a plastic plate.
