When we talk about enhancing and developing children’s learning, we must consider children’s vital processes to learn adequately. Please remember that the brain is being developed at an early age. Those skills that we do not grow at this age are complicated to learn and master later in life. Everything that we do not use will atrophy and gets useless, so it is vital to stimulate children’s brains.

Learning to pay attention and maintain focus is of the utmost importance to strengthen learning processes. Through it, boys and girls will get new knowledge, which promotes new brain connections. However, developing children’s attention is not easy because children are born with a disposition to perceive all stimuli. Sometimes they become overstimulated and have trouble concentrating on a single task. As the brain develops, children learn to omit some stimuli and focus on specific things.

When children make crafts, they are doing an activity that provides excellent benefits for their physical, cognitive, and emotional development. Thus, they are undeniably enhancing memory and attention processes, directly influencing learning. When doing a craft rather than theoretical, it is much easier for children to focus since they create with their own hands and actively participate in their learning process.

Crafts strengthen cognitive processes, such as attention and concentration. Children should focus their attention only on the handcraft to be able to make it. With time and practice, this process will be easier for them to strengthen memory since children have to remember the instructions given for elaborating the craft step by step just like this paper Christmas tree craft.
