There are lots of absolutely brilliant things you can do to entertain little children. Why not try some baking? Make something simple and forget the mess- fun is more important!
Here Are Some Ideas To Entertain Little Children
You can try cookies, pancakes, casserole- anything really. Wash hands, pop on an apron and give the little one a small, safe plastic knife to chop some strawberries, kiwi or similar.
Get them to stick their hands in the dough, burst the egg yolk with their finger, anything which gets them engaged with the food.
Enjoy eating what you have cooked! There are lots of great recipes for little cooks online. Even icing cookies or cakes is so much fun.
Get crafty, give yourselves some painty hands and feet and start decorating things. Try feathers, crayons, buttons, scraps of fabric, foil and make some pictures. Get some clay and make some shapes, do some rolling and cutting.
Fun Activities With Kids
Get some boxes and make a robot or a treasure chest or car with bottle top wheels. Getting crafty is a really brilliant way of entertaining a little one and getting them involved in doing practical things.
Get out and about. Meet up with other little ones, friends and relatives to go for lunch, to the park, for a walk, to the library or for a chat. Little ones are really sociable and enjoy spending time with other people a lot.
This is also really good for them when they go to day care or school or even just when someone comes and babysits.
Spending time with other children and those of different ages will get them talking and walking as they try to do what others do as well.
Entertaining your little one might sometimes seem like a chore, but there are so many great things you can do together that will make memories and build skills to last a lifetime.
