Kindness is a personality trait linked to friendship. Individuals with high kindness traits tend to avoid confrontations and care about others. It helps to neutralize negative thoughts and generate trust – crucial for a person to be honest and fair; sincerity – does not manipulate others, showing honesty, altruism, help others; modesty – people show themselves as they are; empathy – allows people to put themselves in the shoes of the other, compassionate.
Simkin et al. (2012) explain that a characteristic of kindness is helping others. That should coincide with certain ease in interpersonal relationships, friendship, and solidarity. Consequently, to broaden the social field and support it among people with these characteristics.
A way to increase courtesy in children is by teaching them what friendship is, grown as a flower, fed with politeness, and watered without any hope of personal gain or interest. That way, personal relationships bloom. People can have assertive communication, create empathy, are not selfish, and show compassion to others.

ACTIVITY DEVELOPMENT
We recommend adult supervision to avoid accidents because children can put the tiny things into their noses, mouths, or ears; or maybe injure themselves with the scissors.
Step 1:
Choose the materials you want to use. Make the friendship bracelet and decorate it.
Step 2:
Use different materials and tools that allow them to strengthen and develop skills in their movements of hands and fingers.
Step 3:
It is possible that during the process, some difficulties may arise. In this way, they can strengthen kindness by helping others.

HOW TO DEVELOP THIS CRAFT ACTIVITY WITH CHILDREN OF OTHER AGES?
CHANGES FOR CHILDREN UNDER 4 YEARS OLD
You can do this craft activities for preschoolers with younger children. To reduce the difficulty level, you can provide the bracelet already made because it is possible children cannot handle the scissors or hole punch yet. Children must decorate the bracelet with sequins and beads. In this way, children will carry out a preschooler activity appropriate to their development and abilities.
CHANGES FOR CHILDREN OVER 6 YEARS OLD
You can carry out this craft activity with older children. To increase the difficulty level, you can give them foamy of different colors to make the bracelet and add their friend’s name. In this way, children will carry out an exercise appropriate to their development and skills.
