Children go through many different changes in their development. As they develop, parents may notice things about their child that seem to inhibit their learning and development. There are variations of a child’s personality that may be preventing them from adapting and coping with the things going on around them.
Although the origin of these conditions has not been completely isolated, they do exist. They will predominately affect a child’s learning and development. Among these is Asperger’s Syndrome.
Typically, children with this syndrome are currently diagnosed with autism. Unlike the autism spectrum, this syndrome does not appear or is not detected before three years old, and its symptoms can be highly variable. Similar patterns of behavior can occur among children.
The causes of this syndrome are not yet known; however, it is believed that abnormalities produce it in the brain since specialists have found some differences through diagnostic images.
These cases are more common in boys than in girls. Nowadays, there is no cure for this syndrome; that is, children in their adulthood will continue with this condition, which does not mean that they cannot lead a happy life.
Children with Asperger Syndrome (AS) do not have difficulty developing their cognitive skills. In general, children with this syndrome have difficulty walking, running, riding a bicycle, or coordinating their movements.
In terms of their social skills, they cannot recognize other people’s expressions; their attitudes can become rude, do not control their voice volume, show little interest in others’ things, and obsessive behaviors with the subjects they like.
Some of the symptoms observed in children with AS are: they have almost no social interaction and their conversations are about themselves and not others, difficulty pronouncing words, obsession with some patterns of sounds, colors or strange shapes, behaviors, and gestures.
Education with love, respect, and tolerance at home and school is mandatory; however, adults in charge of children with this condition should never forget to offer them more love, respect, patience, and tolerance.
This will directly influence the development of children’s learning. It is essential to use different strategies that help children listen, like using clear and straightforward language, hold discussions about feelings to help AS children learn to identify them. Remember that education is an excellent tool that allows children to develop their skills.

MATERIALS
- Two plastic cups
- Two pom-poms
- Drawing with vertical strokes
- Yarn or rope
- A hole puncher
ACTIVITY DEVELOPMENT
Step 1:
The adult carries this step out. Use the hole punch to open holes in the plastic cups.
Step 2:
The adult carries this step out. Tie the yarn to the plastic cups.
Step 3:
Put a pom-pom on top of each cup. Children must take the yarn and drag the plastic cups to Jesus’ baby cradle. Ideally, the child should not drop the pom-poms, which are located on the plastic cups.

HOW TO DEVELOP THIS EASY MAZE GAME FOR KIDS ACTIVITY WITH CHILDREN OF OTHER AGES?
CHANGES FOR CHILDREN UNDER 4 YEARS OLD
You can do this easy maze game for kids activity with younger children. To reduce the difficulty level, children can carry out the lines through which the plastic cups must pass in a straight line, so it will be easier for children to drag the plastic cups without the pom-pom falling.
This preschool activity will help them to strengthen their muscles and have greater control over their movements. In this way, children will carry out a motor skill activity appropriate to their development and abilities.
CHANGES FOR CHILDREN OVER 6 YEARS OLD
You can do this easy maze game for kids activity with older children. To increase the difficulty level, you won’t need to change the materials. In the drawing on which the plastic cup is to be dragged, many lines can be made using different strokes. In addition to this, two or three pom-poms can be seated on top of the plastic cups.
Children should develop skills in their movements to carry out the kids’ activity without the pom-poms falling off. In this way, children will carry out an exercise appropriate to their development and abilities.
