Angels with rubber bands is a fun and simple craft activity for kids to celebrate and do for Easter. This is a fine motor skills activity for preschoolers that is Montessori-based and will help with a child’s development.
During the first years of life, it is common for children to hit, have tantrums, and bite. This is because at this age, they have not yet developed their ability to express their wishes, needs, and feelings verbally, and this is the way to make others understand it. These behaviors are sometimes not easy to handle; however, they disappear as children learn to speak.
These behaviors, although they are normal, should disappear. If this behavior is repetitive, the adult can anticipate it. Children need to understand that this behavior is not appropriate. The adult must establish limits to correct this behavior. Most likely, children will not correct this action immediately, so the adult must be willing to do it repeatedly.
Children should know that their actions hurt others. However, if they are still upset, they will not understand any reason, so they must calm down first. Once they have been told, you must indicate how they could act and highlight their qualities by showing them that they can act differently. Children need a space to reflect on what happened. They will then be ready to resume their activity; even many children come back prepared to fix the damage they caused, which is perfect.
Suppose you see children acting better and without biting others when facing a situation that causes them discomfort. In that case, you must reinforce this attitude to be repeated in similar situations; with this, you can be confident that they corrected this behavior.
