This chemical release helps people remember information and stimulates the hippocampus, responsible for short and long-term memory.

Allowing children´s curiosity to be aroused is leading them to a life of constant learning. Children whose research process is banned will not be interested in learning new things. Their learning processes will be seriously affected.

ACTIVITY DEVELOPMENT

Step 1:

Open the paper napkin and draw a gingerbread house on it with some windows, a door, and a Christmas tree.

Step 2:

Close the paper napkin and copy the gingerbread house, but this time you will draw the ceiling and the walls only.

You can do this Christmas activity with younger children. It is an experiment, so materials cannot be changed. Children will still need an adult’s help with the drawing because the paper napkin is easily broken.

CHANGES FOR CHILDREN OLDER THAN 6

You can also do this gingerbread fun science experiments for kids activity with older children. To increase the difficulty level, children can draw different things and see what happens.
