Welcome autumn by preparing fun fine motor activity for preschoolers to do at home. The sweeping leaves is a Montessori-based activity that children will love and this activity will stimulate their fine motor skills.
Leaf Crafts/Nature Crafts
Fine motor skills are the ability to make movements using small muscles and facilitate the ability to learn and demonstrate what has been learned. Children will need to do different activities in their daily lives.
Parents’ role is very important when developing children’s skills since we already know that children learn and develop their skills through imitation. The way to engage them with learning and enhance their skills, like visual-motor skills, is by providing them with experiential learning opportunities.
We can ask our children to carry out some activities with us, such as folding clothes, transferring objects from one side to another, and sweeping, among others.
The next fine motor activity is based on Montessori’s learning method to develop fine motor skills.
