Being a father is not an easy task. Although being a perfect father is never going to be possible, most of the things parents do are guided by love.
The greatest desire is always to do the right thing for our children; we may make many mistakes, which parents are aware of.
Parents need to take time to reflect and self-assess how they are raising their children, which can have negative implications on children’s behavior.
They may be raising insecure children with low self-esteem, unhealthy attachments, rude attitudes towards parents, or disobedience. But then, what are those behaviors that you should avoid?
Over-care: As parents, it is normal that we feel the need for their children not to suffer; however, this is unavoidable. They need to live their own experiences and learn from them.
By overprotecting them, children will not have the necessary tools to get up from a fall. They should know that they count on their parents to get up and carry on if they fall.
Insecurity: Parent’s fears are not the same as their children’s. This will prevent children from taking on important challenges and feeling that they cannot achieve what they set out to do.
Lack of communication: As a parent, you must know your child’s wishes, fears, joys, and concerns are. Imposing and yelling won’t create a healthy authority, but this way, parents reflect their own insecurities.
Comparison: When you compare your children, you send them a message that “everything would be better if you were like this other person.”
Indeed, that is not the message you want to send, but it is the one that the child is perceiving. Every child is unique, each in his/her own way. So, avoid these behaviors as much as possible.

The important thing here is that they use their imagination and can explore each one of their senses.
In this way, children will carry out a craft activity appropriate to their development and abilities.
CHANGES FOR CHILDREN OVER 6 YEARS OLD
This Earth Day crafts preschool activity can be done with older children. To increase the difficulty level, you can go for a hike before doing the craft.
