  • Ziploc bag
  • Baby oil
  • Hydrogel water beads of different colors
  • Duct tape
  • Autumnleafoncard stock

ACTIVITY DEVELOPMENT

Step 1:

Tape the fall leaf to the outside of the Ziploc bag.

Step 2:

Pour the oil into the Ziploc bag, then insert the hydrogel water beads of different colors (supervised by an adult).

Kids can use their index finger to group all the hydrogel pearls inside the autumn leaf.

MODIFICATIONS TO THIS SENSORY ACTIVITY FOR TODDLERS

Fall Crafts for Kids

This sensory activity can be modified by putting glitter and colored objects in the bag. The children can move the objects around inside the bag in a free and autonomous way (supervised by an adult).

This sensory activity for toddlers video will find the step by step and result of the “COLORFUL AUTUMN” activity, designed for boys and girls from 2 to 4 years old.

During the sensory activity, a sensory bag will be made. Using their hands, the children will move the hydrogel water balls inside an autumn leaf shape.
